We take a closer look at Corsair's foray into the PSU market. We'll find out if brand Corsair can extend the same commitment on quality, reliability and performance they have given on their modules to the HX Series Power Supply. Introducing, the Corsair HX620W Power Supply unit.

When I think of memory companies that want nothing but speed, only a few really come to mind and one of them would have to be G.Skill. While so many companies these days produce high end memory, we only really see a few leading the pack and when I say that I mean we see the same few companies ahead of everyone with most other companies playing catch up when it comes to speed. While most companies are sitting around the PC3-17600 mark these days, G.Skill as always has kicked it up a notch with a PC3-19200 kit and a PC3-18400 one which we have on hand today. Like most high performance memory kits at the moment, the modules are aimed at P55 platforms due to them coming in dual-channel packets.

Since this is a product designed for the home market, it should be easy to setup and maintain, operate quietly, and be small enough to not be in the way of other electronic equipment.

Quote: The electrical performance of the Thermaltake Toughpower XT 775W with excellent DC voltage regulation from zero to full load, low noise levels and efficiency levels peaking at 88% put it up there with the best. There have been some design changes on the new range of Thermaltake Toughpower XT power supplies and the use of DC to DC converters for the +3V3 and 5V rails have no doubt helped in the production of a power supply that meets 80 Plus Bronze certification.

Between the Radeon HD5850 and HD5770, there exists a large gap both in terms of performance and price in ATIs lineup. Quite simply, the Radeon HD5830 is designed to fill that gap. PowerColor has taken the reference 5830, slapped on a custom heatsink, given it a mild factory overclock and a corresponding PCS+ moniker, and offered it to consumers for $250 USD.

Thecus has their own history of Tick Tock behavior with their NAS servers. In April 2009 we reviewed the Thecus N7700 and found it to be an exciting product that was a step above the more consumer focused N5200 Pro while also being worthy of our highest award, the TweakTown Editors Choice. Since that time we reviewed the QNAP TS-809 Pro TurboNAS and found it to be able to transfer data faster with its faster processor (Core 2 Duo compared to the N7700s Celeron M) and more memory. Thecus answer to the flagship QNAP unit is now here, the N8800 Pro and N7700 Pro. The new Pro model of the 7700 features a Core 2 Duo processor and 4GB of memory. All of that pales in comparison to what came next. For the first time ever a product in this price category has an option to use a 10GbE data connection.

I havent had the opportunity until now to actually have a Raidmax product in my hands. I do remember looking deeply some time ago at their cases when I bought my first case outside of an OEM built computer. At that time I passed for some reason or another, but I am here today to give Raidmax a fair unbiased shakedown, as I really have nothing to go on for build quality or feature expectations. What I do know is that most of the time, Raidmax products dont tend to empty your wallet when purchasing their products. While Raidmax offers coolers and power supplies, I have been given a chassis from the Elite series of their chassis. This group includes ten various chassis designs and variations within some of those ten designs as well. The chassis we are going to look at today for example is one variation of four in its design. Nothing odd here, I have seen this done by many companies, as personal tastes can vary and manufacturers try to accommodate as many as reasonably possible. Changing LED colors or having a windowed panel version is a very common practice.

Article Snippet: The Samsung PN58B650 is one of those products that can be a little confusing to sum up in a couple paragraphs. For one, this TV is quite a bit cheaper than the higher end 850 series model, but other than the dimensions, it has a better overall visual viewing experience.

*Quote:* Upgrading from a normal hard drive to a solid state drive c an be quite expensive and for most people it really does not make that mu ch sense. Solid state capacities are getting larger, but that just brings the price of the drives up even higher. Kingston wants to help people ou t who want to take advantage of the blazing speeds of solid state drives, but dont want to break the bank. They have just released the SSDNow V-Se ries 30GB solid state boot drive. This drive will retail at around $100 a nd will allow you to load your operating system and applications on it fo r fast load times, and then you can just put all of your media on a normal SATA drive. This is a great u pgrade option for people looking to get a solid state drive, but might no t have that much extra money for one.

Quote: The Mushkin Mulholland Drive was able to perform quite well when it was stacked up against the other drives that are currently out on the market, the synthetic testing was not where the drive was able to prove itself as much as during the realworld file transfer testing. I was quite impressed to see that a flash drive that costs just under $9 when purchased directly from Mushkins website was able to perform the way that it was able to.

The Nexus RX-6300 is a mid-range power supply in terms of power output, offering 630W to consumers that dont require a monster kilowatt unit. The 630W doesnt appear to compromise on aesthetics or functionality, as it looks very sleek and offers tha same modular, colour-coded connections that were present in its more powerful 1000W sibling. It would appear that good things may indeed come in smaller packages.

One of the things the 690 II Advanced has going for it is a lot of versatility. With support for mounting radiators in the top or bottom, SSD mount and an external hard drive dock the 690 II Advanced is ready for almost anything you throw at it. Cooling performance is good with the 3 stock fans and with support for up to a total of 10 you can tailor it to the level you want. Styling might be suggestive but I find the 690 II Advanced to be a great looking case and the black interior brings it all together.

Quote: Today for review Ive got that new version but its only a 30gb drive as opposed to the original 40gb capacity. So weve gained TRIM support but l ost 10gb in the process?! Ive decided to compare it to that original 40gb dr ive and even a couple others Ive got on hand. From my testing it is faster than the original that came out last year, which is a good thing, but it still lacks fast write speeds. The write speeds though are not supposed to be off the charts fast, its meant to be a boot drive which means you boo t your OS from it and use it for reading from mainly, its meant to be pair ed with a standard mechanical hard drive where you would keep your programs an d use that for writing to. For the price its well worth it for those that want the speed of an SSD but dont really want to or have the cash to pay for a =91regular SSD drive. So read on=85
