PENTIUM III 700E FCPGA
"Another 1 Gigahertz Wonder"
by Ramil Tranquilino

Still fresh from the last CuMine journey with a 650E reaching 1 gig, read here, comes another Coppermine adventure, this time the Pentium III 700E.  With CPU's getting cheaper and cheaper every day, a fast processor is very affordable now.  And Intel's Coppermine chip is by far one of the most powerful and highly overclockable chips at the moment. Having proven the overclockability of the 650E, I wanted to test the next speed up.  How high could the 700E be overclocked?  Another 1 gigahertz wonder perhaps?  A higher multiplier really sounds very appealing although if it doesn't perform nicely in terms of overclocking then its not worth the extra bucks.

Let's get everything rolling and test this CPU.
