Intro
For years, Chaintech has been producing motherboards using all sort of chipsets. Most of their products then were targeted at the oem business or budget crowd. Lately though they have started creating boards out of high performance chipsets. The direction they have taken made their name quite known to the enthusiast market. But something wasn't right. Although they have made a decision to make performance boards, their early offerings showed that they are not yet fully prepared to cater to the enthusiast market as seen in their early motherboard designs and BIOS limitations.
This year though, that changed. Pledging their full commitment in meeting the demands of the top end market, Chaintech has finally landed their place in the enthusiasts' market with their first true enthusiast board, the 7VJL APOGEE. Targetted at AMD users, they utilized the latest KT333 chipset from VIA in producing this high performance overclockers board complete with the most interesting bundle one will see to date.

Following the success of their newest KT333 board, the 7VJL APOGEE, Chaintech is again poised to introduce the Pentium 4 counterpart of the APOGEE to the market. The APOGEE AMD series showed that Chaintech is capable of producing high quality boards out of new chipsets delivering high performance and stability at a very competitive price. What is missing is their entry to the P4 enthusiast market.
With their recent APOGEE success, Chaintech is once again knocking on another door, this time the target is the Pentium 4 enthusiast crowd. Utilizing the latest Intel P4 chipset, the i845E, they willl try to apply the same motherboard engineering technique that made their first APOGEE board a hit. Introducing, Chaintech's i845E Pentium 4 motherboard offering, the 9EJL P4 APOGEE.
The Chaintech 9EJL, P4 APOGEE, is also the first P4 board that bundled round cables providing better airflow inside the case and less clutter. It also comes complete with Chaintech's exclusive front panel, the CBOX. It can be fitted in a free 3 1/2 drive bay (floppy) to bring all your frequently used ports like the USB, headphone and mic ports to the front of the case. They have also bundled their APOGEE with an exclusive headphone, the BODY THEATRE, to complement their onboard CMedia 6 channel sound.
