The Procedure
Preparing the slocket is the main focus of this howto. If you effectively insulate it, condensation will be minimal, if not, non-existent. I can safely say this because even up to now when I check my peltier rig, which I do regularly, its condensation free. It idles at 2-5C without any cooling software and everytime its checked, it passes the inspection.
This is the untouched slocket.
Apply the conformal coating around the base of the slocket
Fill the center slug area with the conformal coating
Instead of urethane spray, this time I used the same Dow Corning silicone to cover the pins at the back of the slocket or mobo.
Let the Dow Corning Conformal Coating cure overnight for optimal results.
