Introduction
Today more and more people are getting involved in computer case modification. Nowadays, its not only having the most powerful computer that matters but also having the most beautiful case. Side windows, neon lights, cold cathodes, EL light, etc you name and case modder have it. Having the most eye catching case is certainly one of the most important things in everyone's mind.
Now CoolerMaster is not new to having beautifully made cases. Just look at their aluminum stuff and you'll see why. They are also not new in developing unique items to further add to the case's overall look. Recently they have just designed yet another product that will surely be welcomed by case modders all over the world. With increasing amount of user requests, Cooler Master has designed and released their new TLF-R82 Neon LED fan.
CoolerMaster TLF-R82 Neon LED Fan
The TLF-R82 is a transparent fan that comes with 4 blue LEDs located at the outer rim of the fan, giving a twisted glowing effect which makes a ordinary case look extraordinary.

Specification
Size: 80 x 80 x 25 mm

They also used a Rifle bearing fan instead of the traditional ball bearing fans. Rifle bearing is kind of sleeve bearing, however it has some special mechanism that will increase Life Expectance of the fan. Its also quieter than sleeve and ball bearing fans.
Layout
Like with all CoolerMaster product packaging, the TLF-R82 comes in a very neat plastic transparent box. It comes with the fan on a 3 pin power connector. Also included is a 4 pin molex connector and 4 screws packed in seperate box.
It consists of the transparent 80mm fan with the transparent fan blades to match it. The color is actually one would say as ice white.
4 blue neon lights are perfectly placed in the 4 corners of the plastic frame's outer rim, giving the TLF-R82 its maximum glowing effect. The quality of the blue neon light is so good that the whole fan glows together twisting fan blades.

Installation
I decided to take out my standard 80mm fan at the back of the case and replace it with this new blue LED fan. Using my CoolerMaster ATC110 case with a round side window, the TLF-R82 Neon LED fan really stands out in the dark. Even with just this fan, the whole case will light up nicely. Two or three of these will surely make it even better. Match it with my blue cold cathode light and I've got myself a case will surely impress my visitors and friends.

Conclusion
The CoolerMaster TLF-R82 would be a very nice addition to anyone's case. Together with its patented Rifle bearing system, this fan is extremely quiet and delivers the CFM that your case needs. Those with windowed case will get more out of it. Case modders will surely be happy to have one of these transparent LED fans. There maybe other fans out there that have the same feature but I tell you, the craftmanship and the quality put into this fan is extremely good and is beyond compare to no name brands. Definitely recommended for those who wants more eyecandy for their cases.
Pros
Innovative Design, not a "me too" product with a company logo sticker on it.
Each blue LED costs about twice as much when compared to red, green LEDs. Thus, the quality is exceptional.
Putting LEDs on the rim of the frame gives the best glowing effect.
The special IC design prevents instability of the speed sensor reading.
Extremely quiet with its patented Rifle bearing system.
No additional wire required.
Cons
A little bit expensive than your normal LED fan.
Some might not want to mix blue to their different colored cathode light.
