TIPS ON INSTALLING
A PELTIER ON A PEP66 ALPHA HEATSINK

The new PEP66 is the newest heatsink from
Alpha. It's built specially for the Coppermine processor. The
retaining clips are perfect and the added "feet" is an extra. That
is if your gonna use it with just the processor. But if your gonna
install a peltier, then these "feet" would pose as a problem since they
are very hard to take off the heatsink. This is how I did it using a cutter.
The feet helped a lot actually after cutting the shape of the pelt into
it because it made my peltier sit very nicely and perfectly into the Alpha
unit. And I could still use the feet as support if I want to use
it next time without the PELTIER.

CUT THE SHAPE OF THE PELT INTO THE
INSIDE CORNERS OF THE PEP66 FEET
LAPPED THE CONTACT AREA OF THE ALPHA
APPLIED HIGH TEMP SILICONE AROUND
THE EDGES OF THE PELT TO PREVENT CONDENSATION
