Day 2: "Preparations"

Met at the Lab around dawn.. no not really. We planned to be early but no one turned up at dawn including me. So 10:00am was just fine. Now that we have all the things we need, we have to do some preparations and modifications on some of the materials we're gonna use.
Box Mod
First we made the box so that it barely fits the mobo thereby limiting the space the Fluorinert will have to fill. Re-sealed it again with silicone and painted it with a waterbased blue spray paint so that we can see the fluorinert and dry ice later on. You can see though where we placed a lot of silicone as the paint wouldn't stick to them.
Aluminum Block Mod
We placed two tubes to the block, one for the input and the other for the output. The tubes were sealed with neoprene to prevent condensation to the exposed part of the tube once the liquid hits subzero temps. This is a preparation in case we proceed with total LN2 immersion.
