Products and Accessories
Sunbeamtech has sent us quite a few gadgets and accessories to make our PC more functional and of course cool looking. Below are some of the stuff that we have received and tested.
LED Case Handle- This unit makes carrying your case a lot easier from one area to the other. Best of all, its got built-in LEDs illuminating the handles for some light effects. The LEDs come in blue, green and red. Our particular sample comes in blue.
Molex Lights- With the molex lights, you can add color to your molex connectors. Again, very easy installation. Just fit it inside the 4-pin male molex connector and you’ve got some great molex lighting. No tools needed. These lights are available in different colors. Each box comes with 6 molex lights. The only thing with these lights is that when installed, it is quite hard to remove if you changed your mind about its placement.
Theme Screws- They’re not just thumbscrews, they’re thumbscrews with attitude. Sunbeamtech calls them Theme screws. They come in bold, fashionable and exotic embossed screwhead designs like skulls, gothic headgears, etc. Colors vary from tin, copper red and bronze. Great for side panels as well as AGP and PCI slots. The only problem I find with this novelty screws is that because they rely on pure thumb power, tightening them can be a bit hard at times. This is true for the round headed screws like the skull and the alien.
Lazer LEDs- These are compact units that emit bright lights inside your case. They are for those who want maximum lighting with less clutter. It can be used to highlight a specific area or object inside your case or it can be used just to light up the interior of your case. They're like traffic lights inside your case. As always, installation is no sweat.
Night Magic- Another item for optical impact. The Night Magic is a set of linkable, bendable, twistable bright lights that can be placed or hanged just about anywhere inside your case. You can create various shapes using your imagination and creativity. They are chain-linkable for extended length.
